- Coquille fusiforme de petite taille : 10 à 15 mm - Couleur ; brun foncé à noir (couleur plus claire en laisse de mer) - Présence de stries axiales et radiales. - Quatre rangées de tubercules sur le dernier tour et trois rangées sur les tours supérieurs - Herbivores et détritivores

Possible confusions

Marshallora adversa : enroulement senestre Cerithe à tubercules Cerithiopsis tubercularis : trois rangées de tubercules sur la dernière spire.
