Adreus fascicularis (Bowerbank, 1866)

Éponge branchue jaune, devenant orange/brun en vieillissant. Assez peu ramifiée, dichotome et les branches circulaires vont en s'amincissant au bout. On ne distingue pas les oscules mais de fines stries longitudinales. Jusqu'à 15 cm de haut.

Possible confusions

Avec les axinelles jaunes, mais les branches pointues et finement striées devraient faire la différence.

Biotope / Habitat

On la trouve sur les fonds rocheux horizontaux, couverts de sédiments, qui couvrent souvent la base, dès 10 m.
