Amphiroa cryptarthrodia Zanardini, 1843

Algue rouge calcaire, buissonnante, de taille pouvant atteindre 4 cm de haut, dichotome et formée d'articles de 1 à 4 mm de long. Sa couleur varie de rouge foncé à rose.

Possible confusions

Amphiroa rigida mais articles plus gros et ramifications plus irrégulières, couleur plus claire
