Lithophyllum stictiforme (Aresch.) Hauck, 1877

PlantsEncrusting thallus

C'est une algue de couleur rosé, calcaire et d'aspect pierreux, c'est un bio constructeur du coralligène. Adhérente au substrat. Elle est constituée de fines lames superposées horizontalement. On la trouve près de la surface jusqu'à 35 mètres de profondeur dans les zones peu éclairées car elle est sciaphile, mais agitées car elle aime le courant.
