Biotope / Habitat
L'animal est présent entre 20 et 40 mètres, mais on le trouve de la surface jusqu'à 200 mètres de profondeur. Il vit sur des fonds rocheux exposés aux courants de marée et où se développent des tubulaires et autres hydraires.

- Nudibranche éolidien élancé pouvant atteindre la taille de 5 cm
- Le corps est blanc translucide et porte 5 à 8 grappes de cérates
- Les cérates sont bruns à rougeâtres et parfois verts ou orangés avec des pointes blanches
- Les rhinophores sont lisses à pointe blanche et les tentacules buccaux sont longs et effilés
- Des lignes blanches et fines sont caractéristiques sur toute la longueur du corps (et parfois les flancs), des rhinophores et des tentacules.
