Le krill ressemble à une crevette brun rouge, d'une taille comprise entre 20 et 45 mm. Elle vit en très larges essaims sur plusieurs kilomètres, si dense qu'il donne sa couleur à l'eau.

Biotope / Habitat

On retrouve le krill en pleine eau généralement entre la surface et 400 m de profondeur.
