Corps de 15 cm avec une forme plutôt rectangulaire. Une bande noire sur l'oeil et l'arrière du corps sombre. Les flancs sont blanc/jaune.

Biotope / Habitat

Dans les récifs jusqu'à 90 m de profondeur, souvent en couple.

Distribution

De la Caroline du Nord et des Bahamas jusqu'au Brésil.
