Yellow clathrina

Éponge jaune vif qui se présente sous forme d'amas de petits tuyaux enchevêtrés. Sa taille est de 5 à 10 cm. Les oscules sont visibles sur la périphérie. Les tuyaux peuvent se vider de leur eau et dans ce cas l'éponge ressemble à un amas de fils jaunes emmêles. Souvent une action humaine (main ou palme) peut provoquer cette action.
