Espèce pouvant atteindre 24 cm qui possède des rayons blancs dépassant de ses nageoires pectorales. Le corps est rouge/marron avec quelques bandes blanches verticales. On trouve deux bandes horizontales blanches horizontales sur le pédoncule caudal.
