Aspect : forme massive, arrondie comme des fesses, surface lisse sauf au niveau des extrémités portant les oscules parfaitement ronds tous regroupés (alignements)
Elle est étudiée pour une présumée et étroite association avec des bactéries qui produiraient une bio-glycoprotéine, appelée Pachymatismine, inhibitrice potentielle de cellules cancéreuses.
