Possible confusions
Le Poisson raton laveur de Mer Rouge (Chaetodon fasciatus) est présent uniquement en Mer Rouge et dans le Golfe d'Aden. Il n'a pas de tache noire sur le pédoncule caudale ni de barre noire derrière sa bande blanche.
