Grosse anémone dont les tentacules ressemblent à des gros doigts bien charnus et de couleur très variable allant du vert foncé et beige avec des bouts rose à violet. la bouche est facilement visible et le pied est beige clair parsemé de points roses. Elle est parfois occupée par une crevette améthyste.
