Petite anémone beige foncé tachetée de blanc. Ses tentacules sont de longueur inégale et de forme conique. Le plus souvent, elle est posée sur des posidonies ou des zostères. Terriblement urticante il faut éviter le moindre contact.

Anémones vertes quand elles sont claires.

Posidonies ou zostères en mer ou dans les lagunes

Distribution

Méditerranée sur des zones bien éclairées où on trouve les plantes à fleurs. Elle supporte bien les variations de salinité et de température.
