Atteint 10 cm de long. Sa robe est rose à orange, barrée d'une bande blanche en arrière de la tête. Présence d'une bande blanche médiane partant d'au-dessus de la bouche jusqu'à la nageoire caudale. Nageoires dorsale et caudale blanc pâle/rosé.
