Corps serpentiforme, anguilliforme. Couleur pâle, blanchâtre légèrement violacé. Le corps est fortement moucheté (poivré). Plus l'âge avance et plus le nombre de mouchetures augmente.
Sa taille maximale serait d'une longueur avoisinante de 1m40.
La bouche est longue et fine largement fendue.
L'espèce serait toxique à la consommation
