Petit ver myxicole

Myxicola aesthetica (Claparède, 1870)

Ver sédentaire de toute petite taille rassemblé en petite colonie de plusieurs individus accolés les uns aux autres et formant une masse gélatineuse : - Tube de l'ordre de 3 mm de diamètre et de 4 cm de longeur, - Panache branchial en forme d'entonnoir de moins d'1 cm de diamètre.

Possible confusions

Hypsicomus stichophthalmos : souvent rassemblée en groupe de plusieurs individus non accolés les uns aux autres ; le panache branchial est de petite taille (inférieur à 1 cm de diamètre) et de la forme d'un entonnoir.
