Mesure entre 10 et 15cm mais qui peut aller jusqu'à 20cm
Panache branchial de diamètre de 8 à 10cm en forme de fer à cheval et a une couleur variable avec des points de couleur souvent rouge qui correspondent à des taches oculaires. Elle a un aspect plutôt lisse.
