- Taille jusqu'à 3 cm,
- Espace entre les yeux sans dents et poilu (caractéristique de l'espèce),
- Antennes relativement longues,
- 5 dents pointues,
- Bord de la carapace convexe entre les yeux,
- Tache rouge sur la face interne du carpe portant la pince.
