Eponge arbustive, de petite taille (jusqu'à 6,5 cm de hauteur), irrégulièrement ramifiée, de couleur orangée. Les rameaux fortement hispides sont fusionnés et anastomosés et s'étalent dans un même plan ou forment un buisson plus irrégulier. Les oscules et les pores sont non visibles.
