Hairy orange hermit crab

Taille maximale : 12 cm. Corps protégé dans une coquille vide. Pattes et pinces cerclées de gris et couvertes de soies vertes et raides. Deux pinces de taille identique. Antennes verdâtres.

Possible confusions

Aniculus ursus : lignes rouges sur les pattes. Dardanus deformis : pince gauche plus volumineuse que la droite.

Récifs coralliens tropicaux.
