Adeonella calveti (Canu & Bassler, 1930)

Bryozoaire à squelette rigide en forme de petit arbuste à branches dichotomes dans un plan. Couleur jaune à beige, taille de 20 cm au plus. Comme de nombreux bryozoaires, les lophophores donnent un aspect de duvet à la surface.

Possible confusions

Le bryozoaire bois de cerf Smittina cervicornis : il est plus orange et de plus petite taille

Biotope / Habitat

Endroits abrités avec les axes de branches perpendiculaires au courant dominant. Substrats durs et peu éclairés. Aime les parois verticales. Habitant du coralligène.
