Phyllidie à lignes pleines

Phyllidia alyta Yonow, 1996

Atteint 5 cm. Corps blanc/bleu pâle traversé de 4 bandes noires longitudinales. Les deux internes commencent en arrière des rhinophores ; les deux plus externes commencent vers l'avant du manteau, et finissent vers l'arrière. Entre les 4 bandes noires, présence de tubercules souvent jaune/orangé, surtout au centre. Les rhinophores sont jaune/orangé.

Possible confusions

La Phyllidopsis aux joyaux (Phyllidiopsis gemmata) a des rhinophores noires et leur base est rose. La Phyllidie céleste (Phyllidia coelestis) ne possède que 3 bandes noires sur le dos. La Phyllidie verruqueuse (Phyllidia varicosa) possède des tubercules jaunes sur tout le manteau.

Biotope / Habitat

Pente externe des récifs, de la surface à 15 m de profondeur.

Distribution

Ouest de l'Océan Indien, de l'île Maurice aux Maldives.
