Anilocra

L'anilocre est un parasite des poissons, d'une longueur avoisinant les 2 à 3 cm. La femelle est plus grosse que le mâle.
Le corps est aplati. Le thorax et l'abdomen sont protégés par une carapace segmentée de couleur marron brun. La tête est arrondie avec de gros yeux, les antennules sont courtes. L'abdomen et le thorax possèdent des appendices articulés, certains sont préhensibles et armées d'un crochet pour permettre à l'anilocre de se fixer à son hôte, d'autres sont biramés pour la nage.
