Biotope / Habitat

Fixé sur la partie postérieure des poissons, proche de la caudale. Ses hôtes: Dentex macrophthalmus, Gobius geniporus, Gobius niger, Labrus merula, Mullus surmuletus, Pagellus erythrinus, Sciaena umbra, Scorpaena porcus, Scorpaena scrofa, Serranus scriba, Sparus aurata, Parablennius sanguinolentus et Symphodus tinca

Distribution

Méditerranée, mer Noire, mer du Nord et en Atlantique Nord.
