PlantsErect thalli
Fronde formée de lames cylindriques ou aplaties ramifiées irrégulièrement, torsadées, de couleur allant du jaunâtre, au marron clair ou au rouge foncé, d'aspect gélatineux. Fixation à la roche par un petit disque basal. Hauteur jusqu'à 50 cm.
