PlantsErect thalli
Algue érigée fine et branchue, de 7 à 30 cm de hauteur, présentant des ramifications latérales d'aspect poilue disposées en spirale. Les axes principaux et secondaires sont polysiphonés. La fixation au substrat est assurée par des rhizoïdes.
