Colonies encroûtantes de madrépores. Chaque polype est de couleur brun à rouge de 1cm de diamètre. Les parois internes des polypes sont blanches, les tentacules sont de longueur de maximum 10mm couvertes de points blancs et souvent terminées par une boule blanche
