River perch

La perche est un poisson pouvant atteindre en moyenne 30 à 40 cm pour 500 g à 2 kg. Elle est de couleur jaune vert. Le dos de la perche commune est bossu à partir de la première dorsale, les flancs sont marqués par des bandes sombres verticales et symétriques qui vont de la tête au pédoncule caudale. Le ventre est clair. Deux nageoires dorsales, la première nageoire présente une tache noire à l'arrière. Les nageoires pelviennes, anale et uniquement sur sa partie inférieure pour la caudale, sont de couleur rouge orangé. La bouche est terminale et se finit un peu avant l'oeil.

Biotope / Habitat

Vit dans des eaux calmes ou torrentiels.

Distribution

Présente dans une grande partie de l'Europe, sauf dans les régions trop froides ou trop chaudes.
