Plante aquatique de 30 cm à 2 m de haut. Tiges cylindriques bien ramifiées. Feuilles nombreuses allongées et à bordures ondulées, entourant partiellement la tige.

Possible confusions

Avec les autre potamots mais se distingue par sa feuille aux bords ondulées.

Biotope / Habitat

Vit jusqu'à 3 m de profondeur dans des eaux stagnantes ou à faible courant.

Cosmopolite. Partout en France y compris en Corse
