Linear water scorpion

Grande punaise aquatique au long corps étroit et allongé dont la forme ressemble à une brindille :
- Taille d'environ 70 mm,
- Corps entièrement brun clair,
- Long siphon respiratoire en prolongement de l'abdomen,
- Six pattes mais les deux antérieures sont transformées en organes préhensiles (qui servent à la prédation).
Comme toute punaise, est dotée d'un rostre piqueur : sa piqûre est douloureuse.
