Gorgone jaune-orangé, en arborescence irrégulière mais dans un plan pouvant atteindre 40 cm d'envergure, toujours perpendiculaire au courant dominant, sur des parois verticales. Les polypes sont de la couleur du squelette de la gorgone. de 0 à 50 m de profondeur.
